The Screen Actor's Bootcamp with Jonny Dixon and Mountain Top Media

School’s out and it’s the perfect time for young performers to build their screen skills!

This summer, WAoSA welcomes actor, director and writer Jonny Dixon, working in collaboration with North Wales production team Mountain Top Media, to lead our three‑day Screen Actor’s Bootcamp.

Jonny brings over 20 years of experience in film and television. Many will recognise him as Darryl Morton from Coronation Street, and since then he has worked with leading professionals across the industry, developing a strong career in production and founding Leeds‑based company Isaac Who. He also runs respected screen‑acting classes and youth bootcamps, making his visit to WAoSA an exceptional opportunity for young actors.

At WAoSA, students already gain professional insight into screen acting. This bootcamp expands that learning by giving participants aged 9–17 the chance to create their own short film from the ground up.
