Join acclaimed Voice and Dialect Coach Anne Whitaker for an in-depth exploration of Modern Received Pronunciation (RP), one of the most requested accents in the industry today.
Working across drama schools, the West End, film and television, Anne Whitaker specialises in helping actors develop authentic, believable accents that support character and storytelling. Her recent credits include Back in Action, The Wheel of Time, We Were the Lucky Ones, Talamasca and Stranger Things: The First Shadow.
With a background in both performance and linguistics, Anne brings a practical, actor-focused approach to accent work. As a French speaker and qualified dialect coach, she understands how different people learn accents and adapts her teaching to suit each individual.
Anne is also trained in Vocal Combat Technique, allowing her to safely demonstrate and teach a wide range of challenging speech sounds.
